When a question comes to my mind what will be my method?

Have you ever thought about the what science is?

Science can be described as a body of knowledge. Neither knowledge nor science aren’t cumulative. Making connections of sensory emotions of our motor skills and among information that we connect by observing and expressing are called scientific method. To be able to apply our scientific method we need to first have some topics to ask “why” to dig something in details is named scientific question. Therefore, this scientific question should include answers of “when, where, who, what” questions.

Also, scientific methods should be public, open to the questioning, open to change, repeatable and understandable to ensure that everybody can investigate it deeply according to their interests, the need of society or world. In the history of mathematical education, we can see that there were some changes according to some researchable areas.

For example, Hilbert said that everything can explain in mathematics which is called completeness. On the other hand, Bertrand Russell sent a letter to Hilbert. In this letter there is a question which is “Does the set of all sets that do not contain itself contain itself?”. After this question this researchable are started to open to change by making incompleteness of invalid and renamed it incompleteness.

Validity vs Reliability

What is the reliability? Reliability refers to how consistently a method measures something. If the same result can be consistently achieved by using the same methods under the same circumstances, the measurement is considered reliable. - You measure the temperature of a liquid sample several times under identical conditions. The thermometer displays the same temperature every time, so the results are reliable. - A doctor uses a symptom questionnaire to diagnose a patient with a long-term medical condition. Several different doctors use the same questionnaire with the same patient but give different diagnoses. This indicates that the questionnaire has low reliability as a measure of the condition. What is validity? Validity refers to how accurately a method measures what it is intended to measure. If research has high validity, that means it produces results that correspond to real properties, characteristics, and variations in the physical or social world. High reliability is...
